1.      Varisthajana
Swasthya Sewa  Abhiyan:
ONGC in collaboration with  Help Age
India undertakes certain measures to bring the healthcare to the doorsteps of
the elderly through Mobile Medicare Units. 20 MMUs have been donated by the
company and about 1.9 lakh treatments were done.

2.       ONGC-GICEIT Computer Centre: these
computer centres provides employment relating computer trainings to underprivileged
youth of operational sites of ONGC.

3.      Project
Utkarsh- this project started in 2011 in Sibasagar. The
main objective of the project is to expand livelihood opportunities by providing
skill trainings in tailoring, soft toy making etc. It also trains the elderly in
vocations like goatery, piggery, mushroom cultivation etc.

4.      Harit
Moksha: ongc in venture with Mokshda Paryavaran Evam Van
Suraksha Samiti (Mokshda PEVSS) has led to the development of an
energy-efficient and environment friendly wood based crematorium with a system
called Mokshda Green Cremation System (MGCS). This system is capable of
reducing wood consumption by 60% and minimizing air and water pollution in a
significant manner. There are 10 such MGCS units across the cities of Vadodara,
Cambay, Ahmedabad and Delhi.

Hathkargha Prashikshan: This project is initiated with an
aim of empowering the women tribal handloom artisans of Assam and to take
certain measures for the development of economically marginalised tribal people.

6.      ONGC-Eastern
Swamp Deer Conservation Project in Kaziranga National Park:
The project started with an aim of conserving the species of the Eastern Swamp
Deer by understanding their habitat. Certain initiatives are also taken to
prevent their extinction.

7.      ONGC
Hospitals: ONGC has set up multispecialty hospitals at Sibsagar, Assam and
Ankleshwar, Gujarat and at Lakhimpur-Kheri, Uttar Pradesh.1
