For example, if someone in the lower ranks of the police forcethought than an issue had to be dealt with, they would need approval fromsomeone in the higher ranks, this can be seen as time consuming andunproductive.Another disadvantage is that it can lead to officials beinguninterested in the job after a while of working in that particular role. Onecould feel that the tasks are repetitive and it could be said that bureaucratscannot tolerate with doing similar work on a daily business.
This form ofmanagement can result in the officials’ being put off the role and thereforewon’t work as well as they do usually meaning that this will result in lessproductivity occurring in the organisation. Finally, a disadvantage that couldlink with the one above is that a bureaucratic organisation could stress theofficials out on how strict they are on the ay tasks need to be handled. Therules and regulations in the organisation are the main priority over theperson’s necessities. To conclude, it can be said that a bureaucracy is a form ofmanagement that isn’t for all. People have views both good and bad. For somecountries, bureaucrats work well with them however there are some weaknesseswith how it works. In my opinion, bureaucracy is an important part in thesuccess of any organisation. It may be hard to develop a well organisedorganisation with bureaucracy but it is a good way to create a systematic wayto manage an organisation in the long run.
