Motivation and Goals: The major motivation for completing a post-graduate level qualification is to position myself strongly in a competitive job market. My goal is to work in an organisation where i can utilize my skills and gain further experience while enhancing the company productivity and reputation. Therefore, the best business teachers and trainers can do is to explain MBA concepts clearly and to aspire entrepreneurs the certainties of the real world and alert them that there is no magic plan to achieve business feat and that successful business persons such as Bill Gates, Wayne Huizenga, Warren Buffett, Donald Trump, the stereotypically over-used cases in business books and courses are just that, examples and no more .This is important to know because people are distinct in their skills and fortune differs from one individual to the next. Goal Achievement Plans:There are many developed complex management systems for meeting goals, but they have few common elements in them. The first and foremost is to communicate the goals. Goals can help us indicate the important things to the people we work with. Continuous communication of our priorities with the employees will keep them focused on their motive and will also help us attain our goal faster. (Fox, Adrienne,2013)We can get a step closer to our goal by planning the implementation.
We need to create a plan that will break down the implementation into smaller parts. We must make sure that goals once set must be reviewed time to time because it will help in having stronger dedication to achieve the motive. (Fox, Adrienne,2013)Third factor is the requirement of accountability. While working with a team, every member of it must know what their role is and how they can give their best to the overall performance.
Requirement of orchestrating the process is one of the element in attaining our goal. There is a need of appointing someone who can look after the teamwork of employees because employees will be busy playing their roles. Last but not the least is to track the progress. Measuring the progress of the plan will keep us updated with the ongoing thing and will also let us intervene and course-correct it.
