In the currentinformation era, high volume, varieties, and velocity data are produced ondaily basis. Data comes in raw form asstructured, semi-structured, and unstructured. Within such data, one can find knowledge for business efficiency andeffectiveness. Challenges are associatedwith more data generated in traditional way, and in real-time. Analytics isimportant when using big data. Organizationscan extract usable and valuable information out of enormous, complex,interconnected and varied datasets (such as the state of the business andcustomer behavior). To accomplish this, studies indicated that technologies,computing power, digital communication are considering new ways to manage theinfrastructure of big data.
Big data and analyticsare still evolving and not yet established. A broad understanding of big data definition and classification revealeda lack of management research in the field but a distinct lack of researches andacademic field that comprehensively addresses the key challenges of BD, opportunitiesfor solid infrastructure and analytical practices. Thus, there exists the need to culminate theBD challenges and associated BDA methods to allow signposting to take place. The researchaddresses the importance of big data in our era, how to manage it, and what isthe infrastructure of it to generate profit, efficiency and effectiveness fromusing it. It is an attempt to broadenthe scope of other studies and review articles by studying and analyzing differenttypes of big data challenges and analytical tools in this regard. Although researchstudies provide valuable information on BD and BDA area, there seems to be alack of comprehensive and methodical approaches to understand the phenomenon ofBD like types of BDA methods thus an aide memoir will act as a suitable frameof reference.
