Theexperience of racism is nothing new among Filipinos , nor is it so simple.Although most of the Filipinas born in our country have nut-brown skin, oursociety had taught us not to be proud of it.
Our actions are shaped by thestandards set by our society and here in the Philippines, white is synonymousto beauty. Having a dark skin tone is one of the problems that women aredealing with. Most of the girls having this dusky skin tone tend to have lowself-confidence because of the bad perception of the people that you cannot besomeone who can be confidently beautiful if you have a dark skin tone. Accordingto Filipiknow (2016), Filipinos are not the only Asians obssessed with gettingfairer skin. In China alone, skin whitening has been practiced since ancienttimes.
White skin has already associated with wealth while those who werehaving the contrary complexion are prone to discrimination and also classifiedas black headed people. Ourgoal is to make every woman confident by helping them on whitening their skinin a cheaper and an affordable price where they could flaunt their skin on oursociety full of discriminations. Thus,we can help ladies to boost their self-esteemand in that way people would graciously accept them. Weinvented our own soap in order to sustain their needs with the use of KojicSoap, Dove Soap and Hydrogen Peroxide.
THEORITICAL BACKGROUND Accordingto beautyclue (2014), hydrogen peroxide in small quantities can be included inface masks and skin whitening ingredients to come up with faster skin whiteningeffect. When you mix something that would help nourish your skin from hydrogenperoxide and apply on the face, automatically help in the removal of unevenskin tone, dry skin patches on the face, age and dark spots among others.Bacteria contribute to most skin blemishes such as formation of pimples, skinrashes and acne .The antiseptic property of hydrogen peroxide is strong enoughto kill and clear all the bacteria from the skin leaving it smooth safe andprotected but using of hydrogen peroxide without any mixed substance is notrecommended because it prevents blood from flowing to the capillaries at theaffected area for some time. Onthe other hand, kojic Soap is also a big help in whitening the skin. Kojic acidis a peeling agent assists in exfoliation and remove dead skin cells, oil,dirt, and organisms that might be thriving on skin. However, there’s no productthat works without a potential side effect.

With the reliable ingredients, which is kojic soap as thewhitening ingredient, the dove soap which is the nourishing soap and thehydrogen peroxide which will kill and clear all the bacteria from the skin. IMPORTANCE OF THE PROJECT The finding of the study will be redound to benefitthose people who lacks out of self- confidence and has a low self-esteem sincethis would help them enhance their nourish their skins. This project could helpeveryone who suffers from discrimination due to their skin tone.
It wouldbrighten up their lives in more than a month use and they could see theresults. SCOPE OF THE PROJECT 1.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project could lighten up those ladies skin tone.We are making a soap where it could whiten of the skin in order to be healthythrough the help of our affordable and the same time reliable products namely:kojic and dove soap, and hydrogen peroxide. 2.0 PROJECT OBJECTIVE Our project aims to fulfill the wants of those peoplewho has dark skin tone by making our very owned soap which has reliable andaffordable ingredients which are kojic soap, dove soap and hydrogen peroxide.
Specifically, our project aims to attain the following objectives: 1. Boostthe confidence of every women and men who has dark complexion.2. Providethem a soap which give their skin the proper nutrients.
3. Whitenstheir skin after using the soap more than a month. For thefirst or second weeks the changes of fairer-skin will be shown. It should beused everyday and never missed a day without using that soap. For that time youcould successfully show the changes and improvement of your skin.
PROJECT TECHNICAL DESIGN PROJECT FLOW Kojicis the ingredient which will serve as the whitening formula and dove will serveas the ingredient in nourishing your skin that would sustain enough nutrients.The procedures are as follows. (1) Kojic Soap is slowly grated. (2) Gratedkojic soap will be set aside and place in a small bowl (3) Follow dove soap tograte and place in separate small bowl. (4) a bit of hydrogen peroxide will beplaced on another bowl and gently mix the both grated soaps with the correctformula and measurements. PROJECT COST Theingredients that we will be using are kojic soap, dove soap.

This is the focus of our studysince most of the ladies are ni9t confident with their skin complexion. Self- esteem – confidence in one’s own worth or abilities;self-respect . It is also a focus of our study since most of the girls hadalready forgaotten how to be respected because of the discriminations. Hydrogen Peroxide – this is one of the ingredients on our project whichkills and clear the bacteria in our skin. Kojic Soap – this is one of the ingredients on our project whichwill help whitening up their skin tone. Chapter 2PRESENTATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROJECT With ourwhitening product , we will be having our own model which is also a member inthis project based proposal so it would be easier for us to reach out if thereare any inconvenience happening and with that , we could easily observe herskin through the upcoming month and days . The ingredients that we will be using on thesaid project will be the following: kojicsoap will serve as the whitening soap since it has beenproved by many users that it could whiten up their skin.
Dove soap will serve as the ingredient which will serve as the onewho will nourish your skin. Lastly , the hydrogenperoxide this will serve as the liquid which will clear and kill the germsin your skin. The ingredients we will be using are proved by many users . According to theUniversity of Iowa Department of Dermatology, the best soaps — suchas Dove, Neutrogena Dry Skin Formula, Aveeno Cleansing Bar for Dry Skin and Oil ofOlay Sensitive Skin Soap — are mild, less drying andrecommended for people with extremely dry skin. Kojic Acid Soap is one of the most potent on themarket. It contains high concentration of pure Kojic which action is fortifiedwith natural sweet orange extract and vitamin C. Both vitamin C and orange areknown for their whitening properties.
In addition Kojic Soap also contains moisturizingcoconut oil which helps for maximum absorption of the kojic acid. Gathering of data takes us 21 hours in seven days .Experimenting took us two days and each day we had a time duration of one hour.Lastly , observing it will take us 35 days in proving if our product couldreally whiten up the models skintone. Project Implementation My team had made our own soap by the use of ouringredients which are the following: kojicsoap , dove soap and hydrogenperoxide. The soaps were grated thoroughly and been mixed by the hydrogenperoxide. Our product will be tested by a model which is also a member of ourteam so it will not be time consuming. It would take more than a month inproving our whitening product.
ChapterThree Summary This project aims to help thosewomen who has low confidence and low self-esteem in just using our very ownkodoxide soap which will lighten up and nourish their skins. Our soap would bevery ideal to those women who wants to have a fairer and lighter skintone sincethe ingredieants we used are proved and tested by many users that it is reallyeffective. Recommendations Wewould recommend everyone to use our soap. The ingredients we used are knownbecause of the characteristics they have. Mostly of our ingredients had beenadvertised everywhere.
The effects would be seen in just 35 days.
