Motivation Letter Everyindividual has their own interest in their life. From my childhood, I wouldfeel a strong interest in Engineering and Technology, because of its versatileuse in our everyday life. As Bangladesh is a developing county and most of theforeign currency comes from manufacturing products and Bangladesh is able to reachthe zenith of RGM sector all over the world.
That’s why I intended to studyTextile Engineering. Furthermore, my fascination for modern technology,machinery and dramatically increasing Textile and Manufacturing industrieshelped me to be motivated to study Textile Engineering. I have completed myBachelor degree in the Department of Textile Engineering at Mawlana BhashaniScience and Technology University (MBSTU), which is one of the prominentScience and Technology universities of Bangladesh.
Now, I am looking forward topursuing a Master’s degree at Oulu University to enrich my knowledge on ProductManagement by having proper research opportunity. Whilestanding on the verge of fulfilling my graduation at textile engineering, Irealize how important it is to acquire a complete knowledge of productmanagement for a textile engineer. As a textile engineer, I have my own pointof view about the necessity of product management as I intend to survive in aproductive sector.
It is indisputable that product management is an obligatoryknowledge in the Textile industry. In Textile sector from the inventory to thefinished garments, product management is to be monitored sincerely by expertpersonnel to access better position in the market and to get more feedback fromthe consumers so that a certain organization can maintain a satisfactory profitlevel. Inmy last year of undergraduation, I got a chance to visit some leading textilegroups of Bangladesh like Divine group,Viyellatex, Aman group etc. and in fact, the factory where I havecompleted my internship- Impress NewtexComposite Textiles Ltd. Almost everywhere I have noticed that theyevaluate the person who is expert in product management to a great extent. Askilled production manager gets high increment and uplifts frequently. Withoutgood control over product management, a textile engineer is none in theindustry.

Myinterest about product management got a new boost while studying my twoindividual undergraduate courses like IndustrialManagement and ProductionPlanning and Control. I got acquainted with the knowledge such as Function and role of management, Utilities ofProducts, value, Price and Want, Project management through CPM or PERT,Quality control in production life cycle etc. Soto fulfill my cherished dream, I want to pursue my higher study at theUniversity of Oulu, Finland because it is one of the best of its modality andone of the largest universities in Finland that offers the degree which ishighly prestigious. During the university search process, I found thisdepartment has rich faculties having different research interest and havinggreat facilities for pursuing higher studies. Moreover, my father is very happyto hear that I am applying to Master’s Programme in Product management atEurope, He has promised to fully finance for my all costs such as educationalcosts, living costs and other expenditure so that I can complete my post-graduation without any impediment. My immediate goal is to obtainMaster’s Degree in my field of specialization and also prepare me to be a goodresearcher.
After completing my master’s degree I will complete Ph.D., as Iwant to be a professional researcher and I want to continue my research career.
I will work to introduce sophisticated technology in my country. I will give mybest effort to distribute my knowledge to the potential graduate and technologyseeker of the world. Finally, I just want toconclude by saying that I am a passionate person about achieving highereducation in Product Management at the University of Oulu to cherish my dreamof becoming a product Management Expert.
