Wyndham spokes people have expressed excitement for the news and says that it helps strengthen their position in the midscale and this increased scale will help them- as scale matters more today than ever. La Quinta operates in the midscale category of hotels along with Wyndham brands, AmericInn and Baymont Inn & Suites.
