Poetic Form- Lineation

end-stopped line
a line of poetry that ends with a period, semi-colon, or comma

enjambed line
a line of poetry in which a sentence continues onto the next line without being slowed or stopped by punctuation

the continuation of a sentence from one line of poetry to the next line

a pause in the middle of a line of poetry, often resluting from a comma or semi-colon

a phrase, line, or group of lines that gets repeated within a poem

volta (turning point)
a sudden twist in the argumemt or thematic development of a poem
