Hearth
The floor or front of a fire place

Venomous
Poisonous/toxic

Gorge
To eat a large amount greedily

Salamander
An amphibian once thought to have the mythical ability to endure flame without harm

Hysterical
Uncontrolled emotions or behavior usually because of too much fear or excitement

Phoenix
a magical bird that burns itself to death and then it’s reborn again from its ashes

Subconsious
existing in the mind but not consciously known or felt

Tallow
A substance made from animal fat used to make things like candles and soap

Pulverize
to destroy something completely

Impersonal
Having or showing no interest in individuals or their feelings

Olefactory
Relating to the sense of smell

Ballistics
The science that studies the movement of objects that are shot through the air

Trajectory
The curved path along which something moves through the air or space

Heritage
The traditions and beliefs that are apart of history of a group something transmitted by or acquired from a prededessor

Slaughter
To kill violently; often refers to killing a large number of people or animals

Tower of Babel
An allusion to a bible story about God

Condemnation
An expression of very strong and definite disapproval
