The story takes place in Eustace’s house. When three of themwere looking at a painting of a ship in one of the room, they were suddenlydrawn into the painting and found themselves floating in the water beside the DawnTreader, a sailing ship that was built by King Caspian of Narnia for thepurpose of traveling east to find the seven missing lords exiled by his evilUncle Miraz. By the time, he is also searching for the eastern edge of the worldwith his companions.
Edmund and Lucy were used to be Narnian royalty and Caspianis one of their old friend, so they decided to stay with him and start travellingto different uncharted islands. In the journey, they need to fight for dangerand resist many temptations. Myfavorite character is Lucy. She is so kind hearted and thoughtful, even hercousin Eustace is horrible and annoying, she is still being caring of him.
Whenhe was seasick, she took the cordial to cure him. Besides that, she is brave andloyal. When she lands on an island where no people are visible, the Duffers askedLucy to go into the magician’s house and reverse the spell of making theminvisible. Even though she didn’t know what danger she may face by doing so,she still accepted the request in order to save her friends’ lives. Anotherinteresting character is Reepicheep. It is a Talking Mouse from Narnia. Althoughhe is only about two feet tall, he refuses to let his size limit what he cando.

He challenges his enemies and fights on behalf of his friends with,regardless of any potential danger to himself. Thepart of the book I like best is when Eustace realized that he was turned into adragon after he slipped a large golden arm-ring on his left forearm and fellasleep on the dragon’s gold. It is interesting to know that how his companion discoveredthat the dragon is in fact Eustace. It is also great to see that Eustace had becomeda much better person as a dragon, since then, he start to helps others by killinganimals for food and uproot trees for rebuilding the ship. He even took them onflying tours to see the view of the island.I chose this book because I like adventurestories and something that is magical. After reading this amazing book, I havelearnt that we should always have courage and be confident in ourselves, justlike how Reepicheep fight for its enemies, as it may help us to overcome manydifficulties in the future.
I have also learnt from Lucy that we should always bekind to others no matter what, and It is important for us to be selfless andtry to think of other people situations. Apart from that, I know that everyonehave a good side, like Eustace, he have change completely throughout the wholestory.
