This recall includes roughly 280,000 of this product and the incentives for the recall include that of a full refund of the money back to the consumer. There recently has been five reports of elephant ears breaking, which can create a choking threat for infants. No injuries or deaths have been reported.
The retailers include “Walmart, Kmart, Meijer, Mills Fleet Farm, Seventh Avenue, and online at Amazon.com and zulily.com from November 2015 through November 2017” (VTech Recalls, 2018). The cost of the item is about $8. In personal experiences in my life, we had airbags in our families vehicle back home and they required them to be replaced.

A pool toy called the “Skippy” can cause injury by launching the toy’s tongue, which has been found to cut up people’s hands. Injuries have been reported in nearly 5 cases, one which caused stitches. Roughly 31,000 have been recalled, at a retailers price of ten bucks.
